What is the stamping technique you use most in your projects?
I love to integrate stamps into the heart of my projects! Flourishes can add a special little touch to any project, and journaling boxes kick-start the desire to record little details that might otherwise be forgotten.
What inspires you and how do you apply it to your work?
I am hugely inspired by nature. The colors and shapes found out in the *real world* can always be readily translated into a layout or project… there really is no better *sketch book* than nature itself! I love to photograph the everyday things we often take for granted, and these memories remind me how important it is to love what you do.
What stamping tip or trick can you share?
My favorite trick is probably already known by most stampers, but it was a revelation for me! When working with any type of stamp, after applying ink, there are two things I always do: blow gently across the entire stamp, and then make sure to place a mouse-pad under the paper you are stamping on.
Blowing the stamp allows for the ink to spread evenly, and the mouse-pad ensures even pressure.
Great tips, Rebekah!!!
